    Write it down! Samsung announces event date for “cutting-edge” TVs

    Write it down! Samsung announces event date for “cutting-edge” TVs

    Earlier this year, Samsung announced its new Neo QLED and MicroLED TVs as its latest technology. But not being enough, the company announced the date of an event to announce models with even greater news, which may surprise everyone. Although the announcement manages to generate great expectations, little is known about what is really to come.

    The event "Unbox & Discover" will be completely virtual and will take place on March 2nd at 10 am Eastern Time, that is, 12 pm Brasília time. The invitation doesn't reveal much, other than a happy cardboard box with sayings about the event's broadcast via YouTube and the manufacturer's official website.

    Despite not mentioning any model name or what technology will be presented, the event invitation is accompanied by the following announcement;

    "Samsung will share its vision of how the company's latest innovative products are working to redefine the role of TV through cutting-edge technologies, enhanced design and impactful partnerships."

    Although it has not been revealed, Samsung is expected to announce the arrival of QD-OLED technology, something that has already been speculated by several media outlets. This technology should only debut in 2022, but it may be that at some point during the event the company will talk about it.

    Another novelty awaited is the reuse of the cardboard box of their televisions. During CES 2021, the world's largest technology fair that took place virtually this year due to the pandemic, the company talked about the Samsung Upcycling, a program that recommends using the boxes to produce works of art such as paintings, or even furniture, depending on the creativity of its consumers.
