Information indicates that Google will implement a customizable mode in the next version of the company's own operating system, Android 12. The new themes mode will change the entire appearance of the device's interface according to the selected color (primary and secondary).
Various areas of the system will be changed by the new color, such as the notification bar and alerts tab and quick settings. Themes will also be supported by third-party apps, bringing the main interface and app interface into the same style.
This is a big step up from Android 10 and Android 11, where the OS and apps can only switch between light and dark themes. Android smartphone manufacturers themselves often offer different themes, but in Android 12 this will be possible natively.
The functionality will be very similar to light and dark modes, but with other colors. For now, no more details about the arrival of this novelty.
