ANDROID 12 will end an annoying notification problem; know more

Yesterday (18), we were graced with the official announcement by Google about Android 12, a system that can now be installed and tested by application developers, or by users who have a Pixel 3 cell phone or higher. Among the many improvements that were reported by the company, we have the solution of a problem related to notifications that ended up irritating a lot of people.

You may have noticed that some notifications from certain apps behave a little strangely. In the case of Twitter, for example, when a notification is displayed in the notifications panel and the user clicks on the screen, for some reason nothing happens right away, and then only after a few seconds or even minutes, the application finally opens, resulting in a big delay.

Android 12 intends to fix this problem, and not only will Twitter stop having this delay, but other apps too, such as Outlook, Messenger, Facebook and even WhatsApp, which have already been identified with this problem.

Starting with this operating system update, Google prohibits apps from using this delay, known as a "notification springboard", and will start requiring developers to change the way their apps' notifications are displayed, thus adhering to the new rules. . With this, as soon as a WhatsApp message arrives for you, when you click, the application will take you straight to the conversation, skipping the entire loading process, which should be even more significant for smartphones with more modest configurations.
