This Tuesday (29) Google Maps received an update that aims to facilitate the day to day of drivers, from now on whoever uses the Google maps service will see some icons indicating parking spaces.
The process does not change at all, you select your destination and the map will show some icons indicating parking space availability, with variations of easy, medium and difficult.
The novelty has been available in the United States since the beginning of the year with expansion to more than 25 cities. However, the feature has already evolved there, users can not only know if there is a parking space available, but also view the nearest parking spaces.
So, just click on the "E" icon and select one of the options and it will be automatically added to your route. With this, Google Maps will guide you to your parking destination.
The cities of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro are the first to receive the news here in Spain. The update is valid for Android and iOS devices. On Monday (28) Google also released an update for Maps complementing the functions of Picture-in-Picture, personal notes, notes for food and photos, among others.
Now, we have to wait and hope that the novelty reaches more capitals in the country and that the additional features also reach Spanish users.
