I confess that before writing this text, I accessed my settings and I went to take a look at the information stored by Google about my location and internet browsing data. Go to the tip, taking into account that you probably haven't done this in a long time time, calmly finish your reading and RUN there in the settings to clean up! ;-)
You can with the new tool, determine a limit on how long you want your activity data to be saved, between 3 and 18 months and, still, the older data will be automatically deleted your account on an ongoing basis.
These controls are coming first to Location History and Web & App Activity and will roll out in the coming weeks.
The idea is to allow us to always manage our own information and data in the most transparent way possible.. Everything indicates that Google is committed to doing this.
