In case you want to test the video streaming quality, you can now through Ookla's Speedtest app. After the app update, it is possible to check the maximum resolution that fixed broadband or mobile internet is capable of supporting.
New streaming testing functionality was added in version 4.3 of the Ookla app. The company says in the update note:
"Now you can measure your video streaming experience from the convenience of your Speedtest app! To provide this exciting new feature, we've also changed a few things. Feature-specific settings are easier to access and your results have been moved to a global menu. "

Now Speedtest evaluates each image resolution in addition to adaptive britrate and shows what internet capacity is used to reproduce content with a certain image and audio quality.
Launch and availability
The Speedtest app, developed by OoKla, can be downloaded for free on the App Store (iOS) for now, but the new update should soon be available on the Play Store (Android).
