Google develops system to warn Ukrainians of air strikes. The information was noticed by Techlifers on the Android subreddit, where user "MishaalRahman" reported on Google's VP of Android engineering, Dave Burke, announcing through Twitter Google's initiative in partnership with the US and Ukrainian governments.
In his tweet, Dave Burke says that millions of people depend on attack alerts to get safely to their destination. So, the Ukrainian government, in partnership with the US government and Google, is rolling out an air strike early warning system for all Android phones in Ukraine. Check it out below:

According to Google, the team at the Threat Analysis Group (TAG) is developing a system that gives "ways for companies to signal whether they are providing services to refugees". At the request of the Ukrainian government, Google has developed a rapid air raid alert system for Android phones in Ukraine. This service complements existing alert systems in the country and is based on alerts already issued by the Ukrainian government.
Google's TAG team also works against hacker threats
Google's Threat Analysis Group (TAG) also works to prevent hacker attacks. Over the past few months, TAG has noticed activity from a number of threat actors, including FancyBear and Ghostwriter.
TAG has been said to have been "working around the clock", focusing on the safety and security of its users and helping access platforms that help share important information. There were hundreds of attack warnings through the Ukrainian government support. Alerts tell you if the user has been the target of a hacker attack.
