As we already mentioned in another post, Gmail is expected to receive major changes in the near future. Among the novelties, an interface with Material Design, with new features and the possibility of silencing a receipt and still responding quickly through the panel itself. Some news should also arrive for the app, but they haven't been released yet.
The expectation is that a major update to Google's email service can be revealed in the coming weeks, at an event scheduled for the 24th, or even in May, when Google I/O will take place.

Through it several resources should make communication more secure. When sending an email, for example, it will be possible to enter a password, which will be generated through Google via SMS. Most likely the recipient will receive such a code via their cell phone. The idea would be a two-step authentication.
It should also be possible to set an expiration time for the message. After the period, which must be selected by the sender, the message will no longer be accessible.
To top it off, all confidential mode options should receive the impossibility of downloading attachments, partial copying of text and even screen capture. So it's just a read.
In times when security is a determining factor on the network, Gmail's features will be welcome.
To ensure greater security, it is also possible to activate two-factor authentication, which requires, in addition to the password, an additional code that, in general, is sent to the user's smartphone. In Gmail, only 10% of users use the option.
