If you've been patiently waiting for new features for the Google Photos app, know that it will be coming soon! David Lieb, the service's product leader, during messages posted on the social network Twitter, initially intended to collect user feedback to learn about bugs, improvements and feature requests, ended up revealing news for the app.
After answering many questions and requests, David midway through the process ended up sharing what's to come. The first novelty would be manual face tagging, then a new search parameter for recently uploaded photos (feature only available on the web currently) allowing you to find and edit any photo you uploaded, even if it's many years ago.
Now editing timestamps has come to the app for the Android operating system. This is actually a bit strange, since the app belonged to Google and did not receive a feature that is already present on the web platform and iOS OS.
